RULES
1. PROVISIONALS - The Provisional Rule will remain the same at 3 per each Series or Season. In order to recieve a provisional, you will need to email the Series Administrator asking for one. You must do this prior to the event.
2. IMPROPER DRIVING / CONDUCT -
Penalties will be assesed for improper driving. They will include the following infractions;
A. Passing under yellow.
B. Jumping restarts.
C. Passing on apron, under yellow or white line.
D. Intenionally wrecking and/or causing accidents.
E. Vulgar, inappropriate or offensive language; "Flaming".
F. Excessive WARPING.
G. Poor driving and/or not holding a safe racing line.
3. PENALTIES -
Warnings, Black flags and Ejections can be given to drivers that do not follow NSCA RACING Rules and / or instructions from NSCA ADMINISTRATORS. Penalties can also result in LOST POSITIONS in Races and POINT DEDUCTIONS. In severe or repeated situations Suspension from the Series / League can result. ALL Penalties and Deductions are FINAL. NSCA ADMINISTRATORS will be fair in their desicion and will issue judgement based on the best interest of the entire LEAGUE.
4. BLACK FLAGS / YELLOW FLAGS -
NO RACING BACK TO YELLOWS Unless there are fewer than 10 laps remaining in the race. Drivers must lift and/or coast to hold their position when a yellow flag appears. Do NOT BRAKE or STOP at the starting line, rather slow gradually until you reach the backstretch.
All cars will "line-up on the inside of backstretch and wait on the pace car. Do NOT block the pace car at the exit of pits near turn one.
5. RESTARTS -
No JUMPING Restarts or falling back to "get a run" on the field. Drivers should maintain a safe distance between themselves and the car directly ahead of them; i.e. .05 second barrier. Use Auto-chat or a chat message to notify other cars when you are pitting or exiting the pits. Drivers "scuffing" or "warming" their tires must do so in a safe and effective manner, causing an accident while under yellow will result in a BLACK FLAG.
6. LAP CARS -
With less than 10 to go, a lapped car MUST do a stop and go pit stop, if not, he will be given a black flag. Lap cars "re-starting" from the inside line must hold their line when entering first turn. NO Jumping the race leader when green flag is waved or "plowing" your way into turn one. Also, there will be NO "Laying-back" and gaining speed on the field prior to green flag waving. Drivers attempting to regain a lost lap when a yellow flag appears must do so in a safe and courteous manner. If you cause an accident while attempting this you will be issued a BLACK FLAG by a NSCA OFFICIAL. Slow or Damaged cars shall remain courteous and give room when being passed by faster, lead lap cars.
7. CHAT -
Drivers may use their "Auto-Chat" feature when racing, however EXCESSIVE "In-race" chat will not be tolerated. All Drivers are encouraged to notify other competitors when entering or exiting te pits. Minimal chat can occur during caution periods and certain green flag conditions only. This is only advised when it is being used to help promote safer racing. ALL CHAT will stop when the "ONE LAP TO GREEN" signal is given.
8. PROTESTS -
DO NOT take action on the track. DO NOT FLAME or retaliate against the other driver. You must follow these simple guidelines or your PROTEST will be void. When there is an accident, and you feel as if there was a violation of NSCA RACING RULES, You must send a REPLAY of the accident to a Series Director following the Race and include, in your words a description of what happened or what if any violation occured. All replays will be viewed by an ADMINISTRATOR, as soon as time allows, following the race. A decision will be made and any and all parties involved will be notified via email. If there is any Point deductions or infractions that require point deductions they will be reflected on the race results from that particular event.
9. GAME BLACK FLAGS -
NSCA OFFICIALS will attempt to clear BLACK FLGS that are a result of WARP or certain game issues. If a BLACK FLAG can not be removed by an official, then you must pit and serve it. If more than five drivers receive a BLACK FLAG durring the same incident a YELLOW FLAG will be thrown and the problems corrected. These guidelines will not be used to remove legitimate BLACK FLAGS, i.e. speeding, passing under yellow or entering a closed pit.
10. ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES -
Rookie Drivers are encouraged to have yellow stripes on their rear bumpers. All Drivers shall use the same carfile that they submit for each Series. Only one car number per Series will be prohibited, NO DUPLICATE NUMBERS. Any Driver found GUILTY of using CHEAT - CODES, altered TRACK FILE or TEXT will be banned from NSCA RACING LEAGUE
